Took it to Afghanistan from Camp Virginia in Kuwait. Tough. Worked great. Kept cool water fairly cool. Attached fairly easily and securely to IBA.

I was given one of these as a gift and I have loved it ever since. Not only does it carry 100 ounces of water that you can access through the bite valve without taking the pack off, but it can also carry other items in the pouches, accept a small MOLLE pouch for extra capacity, is comfortable and fully adjustable, can be hung up at a campsite for easy access, can pour water easily from when the bite valve is removed (removes with a push of the button and a pull of the valve, inserts even more easily), AND it actually keeps the water a little cool (the water in the tube will warm up in the heat but the water in the reservoir will be much cooler than expected).
I have taken this on short hikes, fishing trips, to baseball games, to kid's soccer games, to the gun range, on camping trips, and on backcountry hikes. They are great for staying hydrated, adding just the right amount of water to an MRE heater, or even washing your hands. It is truly a great buy and a versatile pack to have.
