This is probably one of the best backpacks I've ever had. Great space and very comfortable. Awesome for laptops.

This backpack is smaller than I thought it would be from the picture, but it is a perfect size and there are bungies everywhere so it compresses very well to save space when needed.

I use this pack for hauling my Macbook Pro and books to school and work. I used a SYNERGY from SwissGear by Wenger Computer Backpack for several years until it developed an unrepairable rip but I'm glad to have this pack as a replacement. I carry three spirals, one 6 pound Calculus book, two calculators, pens, ipod, water bottle and my laptop (totaling about 30 pounds) without problem and with no back pain like I had with the Wenger pack.
Recently I took the pack to Colorado for four days. It worked great for a carry on the plane, its just the right size to fit underneath the seat, to fit in the grey bins at the airport, it didnt create any problems going to security and it properly carried everything needed for day trips snowshoeing and cross country skiing. I love this pack!

Although I have not used it camping yet, it is a great size and I am hauling a computer and textbooks around. it is really lightweight and holds a computer, and two textbooks well! Just got it, but it is a great pack so far and comfortable!

I ordered this pack for my brother so he could carry a non military bag when he is off duty. The bag is well built and big enough for a laptop and a weekend's worth of clothing. I didn't order the bag for hiking, I just wanted to get him something that would hold up. I personally do hike and would highly recommend any kelty pack, they just have a really smart design.
