5 out of 5 stars Better Than Expected   May 28, 2010

We just returned from a trip to Southeast Asia, so this is a real-world review. First, a few things the site fails to mention: the pack has dual cross straps, one for the chest and one for the waist, the chest strap has built in elastic, the netting that is stored in the bottom of the pack (and attaches at the top) is perfect for holding damp clothes or beach towel and each pocket has dual zippers.

Highs:
Very comfortable (The Air Flow System keeps it from sticking to you)
Additional space available even with a full reservoir (Think day trip/protein bars and suntan lotion)
Good Water Flow (once you get the knack)

Lows:
It took several rinses before the plastic taste diminishes (try baking soda)

Suggestion:
Use small rubber bands to keep the straps from flapping about.

All in all, an excellent value!

5 out of 5 stars way better than pricey others.   February 9, 2010

This is a great find. I was looking to get a Camelback, but the price always stopped me. Now I'm glad I waited. This has a great hydro system AND lots of storage for hiking necessities. It's the perfect combination between a backpack and a hydro pack. The mesh net is great-can store a jacket or helmet when needed. There's even a foil lining inside to keep the water cool. The fabric that rests on your back is not "sweaty" and seems to keep cool. The whole thing is very light weight. Zippers seem sturdy-only time will tell...

Why pay more for Hydration Pack? Great Product! Large reservoir is a plus!
Fast shipping and the product as advertised! Thanks.

5 out of 5 stars Great Bag   May 4, 2010
S. Fox (Indiana)
I am a beginner hiker, and a boater so I bought this bag for the price and the many pockets. It is very lightweight with lots of room to store important items. I have gps, camera, (the essentials)plenty of room for a light jacket or sweater. It is extremely comfortable with breast and waist straps to help hold the pack in place if cycling or running. The stiching seems very tight, and overall strong material.

The only real adjustment i made was to the mouth piece, i had to make the hole bigger in order for more water to come out.

Overall, I am very pleased with this pack, I would definitely buy it again,
