5 out of 5 stars way better than pricey others.   February 9, 2010

This is a great find. I was looking to get a Camelback, but the price always stopped me. Now I'm glad I waited. This has a great hydro system AND lots of storage for hiking necessities. It's the perfect combination between a backpack and a hydro pack. The mesh net is great-can store a jacket or helmet when needed. There's even a foil lining inside to keep the water cool. The fabric that rests on your back is not "sweaty" and seems to keep cool. The whole thing is very light weight. Zippers seem sturdy-only time will tell...

I am female and about 5' 2" and this pack suits me fine and I am comfortable with it.

I am happy with my choice of this product. It has many sections for all kinds of gadgets I need to carry. The only thing amiss was I couldn't find the mp3 player pocket they talk about in the description list. Not important though.

Overall, very satisfied. Like the color too.

This product is great and is well worth the price. If youre thinking about buying this product make sure the amount of space will work for you since the space is limited.

4 out of 5 stars Excellent value in my opinion   January 30, 2010

Overall the construction of this pack seems built to last. It holds plenty of fluids so that re-filling is hardly ever necessary but for very long rides. I'm not sure I would suggest it for running but that may be a personal preference because I've never liked running with any pack on my back. Seems perfect for hiking and biking. As far as storage it works for holding everything you would need for your bike including money, pump, tubes, levers, tools, arm/leg warmers, etc.. Probably not enough space to be a commuter bag however unless you ride to work in what you plan to wear for the day?
2 small improvements would be nice.
1) increase flow when you drink. Sometimes you have to work a bit to suck enough down (altered my drink spout with a knife opening it up some)
2) Like for there to be a place to velcro the valve to prevent it from flopping around while riding. I've learned to tuck it in when on a bouncy trail under the chest strap. For road riding and hiking this is not really an issue.
Overall pretty pleased with the purchase.
